Default When are deals better: x-mas or boxing day sales?

If I can hold out, I may try to postpone upgrading till alround christmas, cause there is usually a lot of good deals around christmas, boxing day, or even new years.
In your opinion, when is the best time to buy?

I bought my rig on a boxing day sale last year on NCIX. The prices were good, but the website crashed a few times.

I will probably buy a HDD and a new GPU this year

Best deals are often in January, I find, when companies are concerned about clearing out inventory for their books. Unfortunately, since their stock is often low after Xmas, you don't always see what you want on sale.

I'd say Boxing Day if you can catch them in-time...

I got my Dell 22" LCD 2 years ago for $199. Best deal I ever got IMO.
