It is apples and oranges. But yes... at 5 bills you are into semi-pro / enterprise area of the market. But this is two (4x4) 2167 networks with a 1Ghz N network... so its going to plow through at insane speeds even in a 'congested' network... at long ranges. For the average peep it should/will replace the need for a router + wireless AP... even if you can't make use of the 4x4 abilities (right now).

IMHO it all comes down to ease of use and future proofing vs even more robust equipment. YMMV

My System Specs


Best Buy and Amazon both dropped the price down to 379.99 today, likely to match NCIX's upcoming sale. Ended up ordering from Amazon due to 4% cashback and I currently have the Prime trial for fast shipping anyway.
