LogMeIn Free goes bye bye

If you haven't checked your account lately, once you log in you have 7days to upgrade to "Pro".

Off to Teamviewer for me, greedy bastards.

Same here. Should be interesting to see how this pans out.

I mean if the prices were reasonable for a home user.... but it's not....

The pro version is actually very nice. tons of good inventory features and with the fact we have 1500 computers on our logmein we just paid them and continue along happily.

for at home support I use Teamviewer though haha

I love using TeamViewer, have it installed on all my PCs, including my family's incase they have a computer problem and I want to fix it quickly myself.

What is the security like on teamviewer?

Perineum January 24, 2014 07:26 PM

This^

Can even control a windows PC from an Android phone reasonably well which is handy when you are out and about and get a call asking for "tech support".

Yeah, LogMeIn free going away has resulted in huge disappointment amongst Logmein users. Anyways as free version is no longer available, other alternatives are RHUB, Bomgar, GoToMyPC etc.

I switched over to TeamViewer when LogMeIn free went away. Can't be happier.

Arguably, Chrome Remote Desktop works better
