Default Anything odd if Receive link speed half of Transmit link?

I'd think this would be an easily thing to get an answer too, but I've had no luck so far. Bought a n66u and since I got it my wireless adapter says I'm getting about half the Receive Link Speed than the Transmit Link Speed (144mbps vs 72mbps at 20mhz). I'm wondering if thats at all odd or normal and if so, should I be returning the router? Today is the last day I can return it, btw.

FYI: I have tried other wireless adapters, they show the same result, and I've tried both the most recent Asus firmware and that of Merlin.

thirty nine views no replies. Does anyone out there have a n66u and a wireless network utility like the one Relink provides? Can you check and see what your Transmit and your Receive Link speeds are? Thanks.

I do have the N66U and yet not exactly sure where you found it. So I can't help you with that.

Do you have a usb wireless adapter? The utility is usually installed with the adapter.

Yes but not entirely sure where you found it, I tried the status section yet it shows only data rate at 450

Okay, you have an Asus adapter with a Link Rate of 450Mbps. Doesn't look like it breaks it down by Transmit and Receive. Thanks though.

Then again I am using the 5 GHz frequency so no one else can interrupt my data rate.

I only have a 2.4ghz adapter so can do this, yet. Have the Asus USB-N66 on order with NCIX, hope they'll get around to shipping it soon.
