Default Help with Intel 82579v on an ASUS P9X79

Hey all, I could use some help with this issue I'm having. I just picked up a P9X79 board from Your_Friendly_Gamer and everything was going great except for I can't access my network. I've installed the latest Intel 82578v driver but troubleshooting comes up with "Issues found, The wired network adapter is experiencing driver- or hardware-problems"
In the device manager (General tab) Device status "This device cannot start (Code 10)

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thx ZZ, I appreciate it but what I'm looking to figure out is whether its a problem with the board or am I missing something when installing the drivers. I bought the board for a customer build but if the problem is with the mobo then that won't do it for my customer.

Hey kruz,

I just messaged you, unfortunatley I always use wireless usb key and this went over looked on my behalf. I am willing to take it back and pay shipping and sorry for the trouble. Board is under few months old and is under warranty, I can rma it. Or i can pay for the rma cost(shipping) if your client can wait that long. Totally up to you and sorry for the trouble.

Thanks

Did you use the driver from ASUS's website?

I know the drivers off Intel's site typically do not support the 82579V.
