Microsoft Home Server

Well looks like Bill is at it again and bringing networking to a whole new level in the home. Any one interested peep the following link. This could be good as so many times with the simple network configuration you can do now it still seems there is huge flaws.

Nope... sorry, I'll take my media with as little DRM meddling as is possible thank you..... :)

It's an interesting idea, but I doubt its day has come.

There are already enough stand alone products filling that niche for those who want it.

(Have I mentioned how much I love my network ready brother all-in-one printer???? :) ).

Seriously though... anybody with a home network going already has a router that they can plug network ready devices like printers and hard drives into for sharing across the network.

The only issue then becomes drm, and anybody keen enough to share media over the network would be better served (pun intended.....) to un-drm it prior to sharing it.
