Question Vista and Windows 7 Sharing

I have some issues sharing file/folder between Vista and Win 7 via wifi.

I need to move some folders from my Vista PC to my Windows 7 laptop. I can see the networked PC's but if I try to access the Vista PC from the laptop it asked me for a password and vise versa. I don't have any passwords setup and I followed all the instructions from the sites listed below. The workgroup name is the same on both computers. I don't know what I'm missing. I just want a simple draq and drop share between these two PC's.

To turn off Password Protected Sharing:
===============

1. Click Start, enter "Network and Sharing Center" in the Start Search box .
2. Click "Change advanced sharing settings" in the left pane.
3. Make sure that "Password protected sharing" is turned off.

try that.

For the time being you could try enabling Public File Sharing.

Are the accounts the same on both the Win7 and Vista machine? If not, try setting up mirror account names on each machine with passwords, and use the same passwords.
