Wow, this program has got to be 10 times better then FlexRaid. It's easier to setup and it actually works when the system reboots, rather then having to build the software raid EVERY time the system turns on.

Good to hear you got it working. Also finally got mine fully operationally tonight.

Not sure if you took a look at what Drive Bender can do or not. The file duplication on a folder level, as well as the easy drive remove/add both work pretty awesomely.

Sorry to bump this thread, but if you're using Linux, LVM and MDRAID can already do all of this.

Purchased the full version of this software when it ran out, definitely worth the one time fee to use it.

Default Couldn't you just...

mount the NTFS filesystems on a folder name, rather than mounting them on a drive letter? ie...

d:\folder1\ is my "e" drive
d:\folder2\ is my "f" drive

then share d:\, and the multiple filesystems are shared as one.

You can mount to folder names by using the Logical Disk Manager plugin in the Computer Management tool in the Control Panel.

Well I can't recommend this software enough.

For those of you who don't know, my home server was having networking issues, nothing fixed it shy of reinstalling Windows on my OS hard drive. Seeing as only my temp downloaded files go onto my OS drive before moved to my storage drives (or pool) reformatting and reinstalling windows wasn't an issue (backed up sickbeard, couchpotato and sabnzbd settings before doing this). I then installed Drive Bender, deleted the default pool it creates when you install it, after that I restarted Drive Bender and it found my existing storage pool, including all of its settings. I didn't have to do a thing, not make a new/recover a pool or add drives to the pool, all this was done automatically.

If you are looking for software pooling your drives or software raiding I can't recommend this product enough. It's on sale for 20$ and has a lifetime usage for the machine its installed on. If you need to move machines, you release the cd key on that machine and move it to a new one.

Is there a limit on how many physical HD's drive bender support?

I read WHS is able to support up to 20 or 25 (can't remember) physical HD's.

Its great to see a lot of people are having good experience with it with WHS 2011. This is something im watching since im planning to move to WHS 2011 by fall.
