Telus wireless modem/router
 

Anyone have any insight/experience with these? Specifically faulty firmware?

Was trying to set up something relatively simple for a friend who has Telus on one of these, on the application page it kept freezing and logging me out....not impressed.

Yep.

Their modom/router combo is a piece of garbage.The firmware is totally flakey.

2nd vote for the speedtouch 'modem only' and your own router.

This is the response I expected, flaky is an understatement.

I was willing to give it a chance seeing as I have one of the Shaw wireless gateways (SMC) and it has been surprisingly reliable & stable.
