My System Specs

Default Accessing Outlook 2007 on My Notebook
Hey Guys,
When I was in SeaTaC airport earlier today I was online through thier Airport WiFi but could not succesfully "Send / Recieve" on my Outlook account..just get an error.
Same with here at the Holiday Inn LAX...Ethernet Cable plugged directly into my Notebook, can get on the Net, but same "errors" when I try to "Send / Recieve" Outlook 2007....
I'm pretty sure this is simply a Security Fix...?...but not surew how to go about it..any help would be appreciated....

btw +16c here in LA 11:30....shovelled snow this AM getting our place ready for the "housesitter"...got about 10 cm in Courtenay...then rain early this AM.

Most likely the ports required are blocked on the network. Use the following link to test the ports. Test ports 25,110 and 143.

Default
On the road I use my webmail because my outlook is on my desktop. So if you have a Shaw/Telus etc... email acct you can just check it through their webmail if you can't get outlook to work.

Bingo on the webmail. Shaw doesn't allow you to directly access their mail servers unless you are on a Shaw connection. Telus may do the same. Shaw's is webmail.shaw.ca
