D-link DWA-542 + Win7x64 = Pain

Ok so I've had this wireless card installed in my pc for a little over 1 year now, and its been working fine through windows xp and vista no problem. As soon as I move on to win7 x64, I start getting problems with it. For the life of me, I can't get connected to my router (same one i've been using for a year or so). I can detect a whole bunch of networks, including my own, but as soon as I try to connect to anything, I get no signal from the wireless source, and minutes later the network disappears from the wireless list.

Its been so bad, that I have scoured the internet for any drivers that could work, but to no avail. Any thoughts?
