Default Free bandwidth limiting/managing software?

I'm on crappy Rogers Lite and my folding WU uploads are killing my connection.
It's getting annoying, and my gf is getting unhappy.
Is there any good, free software to limit the bandwidth used by my uploads?

**edit**
Looks like there's supposed to be a way to do it through the Vmware player or something.
I'll have to do some more reading... anyone know anything about this?

As far as I know, only the Netlimiter Monitor is free... I can't find a way to use it to limit bandwidth.

Hey guys, kind of thread jacking here, but I was wondering if there was a way to remotely adjust other pc's bandwidth from my computer being hooked up wirelessly to the network. I can access the router but once logged in is there a certain way to only allow certain speeds to pc's hooked up to it?

Im using a Dlink WBR-1310.
