Network card/wireless adapter

I'm currently using the wireless adapter from my motherboard (in my sig). For the moment, I'll have to stay wireless for a little while (maybe a year). I have a Linksys WRT54G with the tomatoe firmware. Should I buy a wireless adapter (PCI) + a network card (PCI express) ? I could buy a network card in prevision of going wired! Would I see some benefits? Is there a network card that can do wireless and wired? Is a USB wirelesss any good? I will game with this desktop (CS:S), so lag is a factor

Anyone have a suggestion? Keep in mind that the router is about 20 feet from my pc
(My room - bathroom - Router room).

Your built in wireless card and wired port are plenty, no need to go out and buy PCI cards to provide the same ability. Save your money and just use the onboard!. :thumb:

Perhaps I fail to see the question. :haha:

No you're good! I just want to know if I will really benefit with a new network card
