falcon northwest

would the falcon northwest frag box DRX (with all bells and wistles) 2 geforce 8800's and a Intel core2quad 3.0GHZ q9650 etc... be the best gaming laptop available today. note that i've also looked at the dell xps 1730 and alienware m17x (neither have available in quad core processor)

Are you going to be traveling a lot? You won't want to carry this around. I would highly recommend getting a $1500 PC and then a cheap 14" notebook on the side. There's more portability this way. And if you did have this it would need to be plugged in because the battery would just be burnt in like five minutes lol.

Falcon NW is well known for their paint jobs, but you can save a couple hundred dollars if you go Dell or Alienware (same company now). But you seriously won't need dual cards in a laptop. If you already have a desktop then I would seriously just stick with that if you're not moving around a lot. That's my opinion. If it's staying at home, build a desktop.
