Default Audio Options?

Hello there,
I'm looking into getting a laptop for my DJing rig rather than using CDs. As such, I need the best quality sound possible.

Here's my question; will any integrated sound cards compare to an aftermarket, or would a USB or other aftermarket sound card be the best option for this sort of thing? Recommendations are always helpful as well.

Thanks for your time.

Looking more at the Creative Xmod or the Asus Xonar. The Xmod looks like the best choice at the moment as it's reviews say it is about as good as it gets for media and lost most of its points for gaming, which is not what it will be used for.
