Default Light, portable Windows 8 tablet?

I'm looking for a Windows 8 (not RT) tablet that's lightweight, easy to carry around, decent battery life, and reasonable build quality. Does such a thing exist? At the moment, I'm thinking about the ASUS T100, but I've not had any personal experience with it. Currently I'm using a Surface Pro 1, which has been great; but it's pretty heavy and bulky. If I wasn't so mobile with it, that wouldn't bother me, but it's something that has to change now.

I was going to suggest looking at Dell's offerings just based off of general impressions, but their website doesn't appear to offer any indication of weight so I found this older comparison which would suggest that there are some lighter weight solutions out there.....

There's a big difference between something that weighs in at 2+ lbs and something that weighs in around .75 lbs. You're obviously going to sacrifice features for the lighter weight of devices closer to android tablets, but if you're carrying the thing around with you on a regular basis, weight might trump all other considerations.

Weight is definitely a concern. Although I have been looking at the DELL options simply because of the warranty that can be added. The Venue 11 Pro looks like a solid choice.

I love my Dell Venue 8 Pro. It is at the moment my only working computer besides my HTPC. I am using it for Lightroom and Photoshop. Although honestly both can be extremely slow. I use the Dell bluetooth keyboard/case with it. Then just a wireless usb mouse. For the price I can definitely not complain. Especially since it comes w/ Office 2013 as well.

Wow... Adobe suite from a tablet? I'm not sure I'd be willing to go that route. But excellent to know, as that gives me a pretty reasonable idea of where the DELL sits.
