I would love to hear people's feedback on this thing. Is anyone planning on buying it? Is SHIELD even an option or a viable gaming platform for you guys?

Makes so much more sense to buy a PS Vita instead of this, given that Vita streaming will be mandatory for PS4. It's overpriced, it's chunky, and it's ugly.

Was there an actual announcement of PS Vita / PS4 streaming? I must have missed it.

From my understanding, yes, via its HDMI output.

I would be totally sold had NVIDIA included DLNA for wireless streaming TO a projector / HDTV. I don't really want a thick HDMI cord running from my handheld to the TV.

I'm a bit unclear on PC games when I read the press release(s).... first it talks about accessing games from the android library, then there's a vague reference about it being a controller for streaming PC games......

Here's a link.

Regardless of streaming potential, why pay $299 for an ARM powered mini-tablet-ish-thing when you could get a better performing Kabini notebook? I assume there are streaming programs out there for Windows?

When I get some more hands on time with it tomorrow, I'll let you know. However, I think the PC streaming feature will only be in beta at launch which is likely why they are hedging their bets.

Thanks for the feedback Skymtl I am only interested in the streaming feature and as you mentioned adding a home cable out the back of the device is less than ideal.
