Kinda a deal, but I can get one from my carrier (Koodo) for $625 outright. Unlocking should be doable for free, just wait for the XDA gurus to sort it out.

I wonder if the Jellybean unlock would work?(the utms settings one)
It worked on alot of samsung phones, free unlocks if you run jellybean!!

I believe that unlock method has been patched.

in the S4? Not on the S3, I just got a new s3 from my provider(warranty) and the box date was about 13days ago, and it unlocked using the free method..(maybe some providers still haven't updated)
Regardless this was a great way lol

Out of 5 phones, I only paid for my first unlock since I was not willing to do the legwork.

Worst case scenario, pay Koodo the $50 to unlock.

Too big of a phone. Too powerful for its own good. Not required. I miss my S2. Nuff said.

Lol we need smaller phones :(

I actually agree, we have become so dependant on our devices....lol
I miss my nokia 3390(customized ringtones), and you could use the thing as a hammer if need be

So true, makes no sense for all the power when the software is a joke to run. 8 cores and an Adreno GPU to play Angry Birds, lol.

Anyhow, I am quite tempted to pickup a refurbed S2 X from Koodo for $150 to my door, although I do love my HTC Raider sooo much. Decisions....

Agreed. I was happy to see Galaxy S III Mini and then saw the specs were downgraded. Very very disappointing.

I'm stuck at Galaxy S II (Rogers 727r) and I'm thinking about just jumping to Nexus 4 or whatever the next iteration is.

I don't think there will be significant improvement hardware wise. I'm very happy with the overall performance of GS II with CM10.1. I just need better battery life so I don't have to keep it plugged in all day!
