Default Miracast!

Wow...just picked up a Netgear PTV3000 Miracast/Widi adapter to try with mt Galaxy S4 and wifey's Xperia ZL and this tech is pretty neat.

I was streaming pretty good from my S4 at approx 30ft away until it started getting choppy. Google maps was a little choppy too, even when close.

Streamed some Youtube and there was a glitch for about a second or so in the 10 mins I was streaming video...was not streaming a HD video.

Scrolling and showing pics and videos already on the phone (even HD) was flawless (a slight delay, but no skipping...the delay was similar to a delay you might see using Intel WiDi).

One-touch pairing too....rare to see tech work this easy. The hardest part is choosing HDMI 3 for the TV....

How much did that set you back? I've been wanting to try widi on my nexus 4 for a while.

It was $76 plus tax and free shipping on Amazon.

Worth it in my books.
