X79 Mobile Desktop (laptop)

Well Clevo has done it again their next desktop parts laptop is out, the P570WM is based on the X79 Socket 2011 and can take up to an E5-2687w $2000 xeon chip 32GB of ram and up to 4 HDD's plus SLI'd gpus.

I'm glad I didnt stumble onto it earlier, I might have caved and bought one..... I'll wait for what comes after socket 2011.

That's really not a laptop at all. It's a desktop PC with a monitor and keyboard attached to it. I sure as hell wouldn't want to carry that with me.

You'd be better off buying a mobile home you can move around, and build yourself a desktop. You would have toughly the same amount of mobility.

More so actually since it would be drivable :haha:

I think even an ITX case, 19" monitor, keyboard/mouse would be easier to carry.

I remember reading a review for its older x58 sister and they said and i quote "the onboard battery is literally labeled as a battery backup" :shok:

backup for what? power overage?

dude you get 8min to back up!!

but if charge the battery continually and it will age very quickly... charge the battery when its under than 70% to keep the battery last longer...
