Refurbished Laptop advice.

Hello all. First of all, I know very little of laptops. I'm a desktop guy. I was looking around for a refurbished one, trying to stay under $300 if possible. It would be used mainly for internet/wifi on the road, home finances, etc. But I would really like it to have enough power to run a few older games like older original MOA, COD, etc. Now I found this:

DELL Latitude E6400 P8700 Business Laptop (Refurbished)
- Intel Core 2 Duo 2.53 P8700, 4G DDR2, 160G HDD, DVD-COMBO Drive
- 14.1" Display, Windows 7 Home Premium 64Bit & Recovery Media

Just a little under $300. Think this would work for what I need? Alternatives? Thanks for any advice.

I would really try and get a laptop with a discrete graphics card if you're going to be doing any gaming. I know you're playing older games, but a low-end discrete card is much better than onboard.

the problem with finding a laptop with discrete gfx is that it put you in a way higher price range . How do the AMD APU's compare to intel onboard?
