Yes, I suppose it is multimedia series laptop, but it does handle games rather well. None the less I'd say that 98C is a bit over the top so if you are sure that there's no problem with conductiveness( because it will evaporate instantly) as long as the laptop is complpetely off - no battery - I'll give the dust can a try.

I take it that you agree on not using a vacuum cleaner or an air compressor machine. :)

You can use an air compressor but:

1. lower the PSI to about 80.
2. Make sure the compressor output has an oil / particle filter installed in-line. Otherwise you will spray your components with a compressor oil.

I've been using a compressor for many years, never had an issue on any of the rigs I've cleaned. And as sswilson said, being a laptop you have to dissassemble.
