Windows 8 Pro Tablets
 

Has anyone heard much buzz on windows 8 pro tablets that will be out for the holidays? I know the Surface Pro is due for January and Asus has some for next year, but I'm curious if there's a decent one this christmas.

I'd love to get a tablet for some portable Civ V. Lugging my G75 around isn't the thrill you'd think it is... :sad:

Is there any that have really stood out for you guys and gals that you've seen already?

There will be no other Pro tablets available before next year. I certainly wouldn't run Civ5 on any of them either, unless you enjoy waiting long periods of time for responses.

Best Buy had the Samsung on display. Had an i5 and 128GB SSD. Ran pretty smoothly, but I dunno if Intel graphics are really up to the task of playing games.

The Atom based version of it beside it definitely ran far worse though. It was lagging just swiping through the start menu.

My iconia tab now has win8 drivers so I'll be giving it a try on an AMD proc. :)
