My System Specs

Default Just bought Galaxay S3

I am new to smartphones and bought a Galaxy S 3 today and was wondering what are your guys favourite app's and a were is a good place to get them?

Android Market, you have an icon name market. My favorite apps is something to detect wifi

Actually, it's called Play now. Not Market. Easiest place to get apps for sure. Look around on these forums, I know there was a "must have apps" thread recently.

Yeah, the vast majority of apps are available in the Google Play store. A rare few need to be downloaded from the authors website. Sirius satellite radio comes to mind. Once you have an account and it's linked to your phone you can even browse the store on your PC and install the apps to your phone from there. Kind of a neat feature if you are browsing and installing a ton of stuff. https://play.google.com/store

There are apps for everything. I tend to use the simple ones the most, the weather network, facebook, bloomberg, gmail, google maps etc. Definitely get a flashlight app and a ringtone app like Zedge.

Go Locker, Go SMS, Go Launcher

Install those and you'll have a much better experience.
