My System Specs

Question which brand laptop is better / best <$800
Have had Toshiba laptops for years and loved them. Last one was a dud. Some keys work slowly or need to be hit several times to work. Laptop will be used for internet mostly - no gaming - just want reliable. suggestions on brands to stick with or brands to avoid?

I have always like Asus for their warrenties. One year accidental damage coverage. Drop you laptop in a lake? Your covered.

Yes, Lenovo's are a cut above... including their "value" models. Always a deal when you shop direct on their website.

All three awesome and just well awesome haha. Toshiba falls in the cheap but ok section on its own where acer and hp are crap

I've had farrrrrrrrrrrr better luck with Acer than I've had with Asus. Don't even get me started on the shit storms I've had dealing with the so called "Great" Asus support.

I'll take Acer support over Asus ANYYYYYYYYYY day.

I thought the deal with Asus was they made great products but had shit support? lol

I have a 5 year old Asus barebone laptop that is still going strong.

The screen on my fiance's MSI laptop died after the first year.

We just bought an Asus media laptop for her.

Just bought this Toshiba Satellite 15.6" Laptop featuring AMD A8-4500M Processor (L850D-00V) - Silver : 15" Laptops - Best Buy Canada for 499$
