Yeah. This screen is BRIGHT. I am using it 3 settings down from the top it is so bright.... I gotta say I am definitely impressed and Oh so pleased with this. Very fast, very light, and yet very sturdy, cool, and silent. Heck I even like this keyboard better than my desktop keyboards (3rd Thinkpad now, man I love the keyboards!)

If anyone thinks it is way too much to dish out for a laptop, think again. This is a machine built to last. It's my first "REAL" latop too, (I've bought a few second hand thinkpads) and I think you might as well go all out!! 13.3" high res screen is just what I needed.

You get access to way too many goodies at work Vortex-nice find anyway. Are you going to put anything extra in there?
