Ok, so I now see what people's complaints are with the screen popping up.
Mine has it, but none of the other issues (dead pixels, light bleed, etc) from what I can tell so far.

I'll likely take it back to BBY and swap it out, if the second one has it, then I'll just get a refund and wait for the issue to get rectified by Google before rebuying. It's too bad, cause it's otherwise a great tablet.

I haven't run into a single screen, pixel or light bleed issue whatsoever. Maybe they sent futureshop the good stuff?

Mine flickers at low levels, subtle but mos def noticeable.

Doubt that has anything to do with it, FSBBY have the same warehouse.

Are you sure you don't have the screen popout issue? I didn't think I did either, until I read how to check for it. Very simple, look at the left side of the screen, if the glass is slightly above the bezel, then you have the problem.

Exchanged my first unit, although the new one doesn't have the screen separation as bad as the first, it still does, and I personally can't 'live' with this issue, even though it's minor.
Guess I'm going to return it and wait for Google/Asus to fix the problem on their production line and when they've reseeded the retail space with good versions, I'll pick it up again.
Hopefully it's sooner, cause the tablet is quite awesome otherwise.

2 weeks or so later still no reply from Google about my tablet, no tracking number. About to pay my credit card and I saw that they charged me with the tablet already. No good.

I called, didn't wait at all, and told the girl of the circumstances. She said she will consider it lost or stolen (what??? no tracking number and yet it might be stolen) and will expedite another one. I just canceled the order and told her my displeasure about the whole fiasco. One thing for sure, these guys got some attitude.
