Dropped phone in water

Anyways, it's an iPhone4 and still covered by Apple/Rogers until mid April. Rogers claims to have an accident forgiveness policy, but I question their competence. I've heard good stories of people bringing their phones directly to the Apple store for service even though they bought it from their carrier.

- should I take it to Rogers or Apple?

Try it in a bag of rice first, then take it to apple. They will generally replace it free of charge.

Apple won't do squat as iphones have a moisture/wetness indicator that will have been set off voiding any and all warranty.

Dropped my iphone 4 in the water trough once. Took it to apple, they called me on the moisture thing and I told them I work outside and for the price of them their phones should be able to handle it if i have it in my pocket on a rainy day as it's useless to me if it needs to stay in the truck due to in-climate weather. Got my replacement.

If the solutions above don't work, call rogers, and get to the costumer retention line. Its a bit of a hassle to get there, but once your in, you'll get results.

Dropped mine in a Jacuzzi and did the rice thing. Buried it completely in rise in a plastic container and it worked...who would of thought...still going strong after 4 months.
