My System Specs

Question Cooked my last rocket stick.

I used my last ZTE rocket stick from Rogers. I don't use it much, and when I do I BABY it. Yet it still fails... and i've cooked my third one in under three years. Rogers won't send me any more replacements, and I almost can't blame them.... I'm under no contract.

What experiences are you guys having with your mobile internet sticks?

I've decided to put this one on the back-burner. I'm impressed by the performance I get from an iPhone 4 with wireless hot-spot for my laptop. It's performance is close enough to a USB internet stick to be tolerable for now...

I fried at least three Rocket sticks until I smartened up and got a Mifi.

MiFiŽ

It's much more convenient to turn it on and leave it in your pocket while connecting through wifi. Also, you can connect up to five computers at once.

Good call Jimbo

I went with a Sierra Wireless AC754s on the Rogers network. I like the added utility of being able to share my 4G connection with others.

iPhone 4 tethering got old real fast, when i can't RDP or VPN into any of my clients networks on the road like I could with the rocket stick =P Here's hoping it lasts longer than a rocket stick!!!

;)
