I chose the Toshiba AT100/Thrive and I got the broken glass defect....

Way too fragile..buy at your own risk! Toshiba won't help you.

Broken Glass / Screen

There is even a how-to guide on youtube on how to replace the broken glass...

I have a Coby MID7022 and it is a kickass bargain tablet running Gingerbread. Capacitive screen and can be found under $150. Not high end by any means but it does the job. It it only had bluetooth it would be ideal for my needs but it is a great unit to have around the house when the kids take over all the PC's.

I have a Transformer Prime and really like it, but I don't use it as much as I thought. Also have a Galaxy S II phone, which is what I tend to use to check things like Facebook and Google Reader.

Sitting on the couch surfing the net on the Prime is pretty nice. Battery life is really good, and it's pretty comfortable to hold onto. It's slim and fairly light.

Just got a Transformer (non-prime) to replace my aging netbook. It's the 32GB model with the keyoard dock. It is simply amazing in my eyes and a major step up over the netbook I was using. I no longer run a Windows based PC for my personal needs although my netbook is being used by the wife for pictures, htpc and surfing as well as music. GPS is slow to lock but it is insignificant in the grand scope. Can't recomment something like this enough if you're thinking of a netbook.
