That doesn't even seem to be a victory for Apple.

Good thing is that HTC already announced that they found a way to circumvent patent number 674:

HTC gave Android Central the following statement (updated 6:20 EST):
We are gratified that the Commission affirmed the judge’s initial determination on the ‘721 and ‘983 patents, and reversed its decision on the ‘263 patent and partially on the ‘647 patent. We are very pleased with the determination and we respect it. However, the ‘647 patent is a small UI experience and HTC will completely remove it from all of our phones soon.

In other words: whatever :)

after testing the HTC Raider on LTE network, and seeing it constantly hit 20Mbps download and 10Mbps upload, with just one bar of signal, let me tell you that even with all these lawsuits Apple is going to loose some followers. I am already thinking of changing my 3GS for an Atrix.

But have you heard the latest that the MORONS at the patent office have give a new patent for. Apple now has a "Patent" for accessing Aps while talking on the phone. I am at a complete loss as to how they could get a patent for something like this unless the US gov is favoring Apple over the Taiwan and Japanese manufactures. What's next Apple getting a patent for talking on the phone ????

Anyway here is a link to the story.

That patent is only covering a certain routine on how to access application during a call. Somebody will find an other way to archive the same result.

Apple knows that it's future is anything but golden with the rise of google's android and chrome systems. Now they try to prevent that by blocking their innovation and even that doesn't seem to work as they expected.
In a few years from now, apple will be forced to compete with android and possibly windows phone by releasing a broader spectrum of devices and that will be the end of their exclusivity.

Good Night, Apple.
