Heh, thats a PR nightmare for them. That's one thing that CarrierIQ messed up and basically bite them in the ass.

Issue a C&D letter and then backtrack and say it was the carriers/manufacturers that wanted the data, not them. Pffft, like id believe them now .

LOL @ CarrierIQ for not giving hackers any credibility and arrogantly issuing lies before being exposed. And then after being exposed they have the audacity to try and pass blame. Muppets.
