Default Samsung Galaxy Nexus
Anybody else excited for the Galaaxy Nexus. I am eagerly waiting for this phone to come out. I may switch to an icecream sandwich phone either when Telus allows me to upgrade or when my contract ends.

Yup. Already reserved mine from Rogers.

Although, i really hope it comes with LTE. If it doesnt - i may cancel the rogers reservation and get one from Virgin.

Galaxy Nexus is gonna be a nice phone.. But personally you could just get a Galaxy S2X or a variation of it and be plenty happy.

The Nexus S will be the first phone after the Galaxy Nexus is released to more than likely get the ICS upgrade.

It won't be LTE as the only LTE version out there is the Verizon one which uses CDMA as the fallback.

I actually have a Nexus for a little while.
The screen is really sharp, very impressive stuff and ICS feels very smooth.
They added something I like which is a bandwidth monitor so you know how much data you use on your network (excludes Wifi if you prefer).

you don't have to do that: get a phone with android and root it, and Install Icecream Sandwich with Odin. Or you want it because of the screen?

8530 that is CDMA, means Bell or Telus. 3G coverage is only in the city, (if you are still in Thunder Bay) outside the city you are out of luck.
