So it is time to replace the darn thing. NCIX has a great sale on 2 contenders:

Comes out any day now. It is the 4G version of Galaxy S II. Better specs all around really.

I'm waiting for the damn SG2 X myself.

I don't like the SG2 NCIX is selling as its the bell version which has a physical home button which I don't like.

I'd say go for the SGS2, in whatever iteration you like. Currently the "best" Android phone I'd say, until the Galaxy Nexus comes out in November.

Which I did. That sale price was just too hard to pass. Let's see if I was fast enough since there were 15 available this morning, and none are left in stock as of tonight.

I have a SG2 (international/Bell revision), definitely a great phone. The new SG2 from Telus/Rogers just seem a bit too big for me. Battery life is definitely bad though, I am still on stock kernel though (just rooted).

See I'm the opposite, I really like having a physical button. Maybe that's the former iphone user in me speaking up.

As for battery life I find the SG2 to be pretty good once you go to 2.3.4. Bell sells them with 2.3.3 and has horrendous battery drain issues.
