CDN extended warranty for the best notebooks ASUS, MSI, Sager?

I'm in the market to replace my 3yr old MACBOOK PRO with a good gamer notebook. I've been looking at various high end models from ASUS (G74), Sager (NP9170), MSI (GT683DXR), Alienware (m18x).

After my experience with Apple an extended warranty and accidental damage warranty is very important to me. My MAC had to be serviced several times of the last 3 years due to faulty parts!

Is there a retailer that offers extended/accidental warranty in Canada for these notebooks? From my research is looks like most retailers like Canada Computers and NCIX just offer the stock warranty which is just 1 or maybe 2 years. Alienware (DELL) does have 3yr extended/accidental warranty - but from reviews it looks like the machine will probably have to be serviced alot so I'd rather go with one of the others.

It looks like the US retailer xoticpc has some Canadian warranty support.

I'm hoping the experts here will steer me in the right direction with advice on best warranty/service options available.

Pretty much every big box store offers an "extended warranty", but there is a reason they offer it... They make money on it.

My parents had great service with Dell on their last PC, so I went with a dell XPS17 and love it. Way cheaper than the Alienware with very similar specs. ASUS G73SW-A1 was my first choice, but I had problems with an ASUS R3E mobo and ASUS basically told me to "get lost"...

Don't buy off the shelf ... too much hassle. I got my Sager through XOTICPC and their service is exceptional. Just get the Canadian Warranty so shipping is covered in case of any issues.

Also check out ReflexNotebook.ca they are a Canadian company that sells the same stuff as XOTICPC. Prices are a little higher .... check if they have a price matching policy.
