Default Selling X120E... Buying replacement that games better

Sad day. Typing on my x120e is just a little too cramped and doesnt help my hand pains at all. So unfortunately, im going to have to sell it soon...

Now the question is, what should i get instead? I can't really build anything with my hands too often now, but at least I CAN still play games. So I'd like a good, solid laptop <$800 that can at least play source games, perhaps play newer FPS games.

Suggestions?

Preferences:
15.6'' or smaller, led-backlit if possible.
Solid construction, no flimsyness.
I like: Lenovo, Sony, Asus laptops more than others.

Thanks all..

I love my Y570, with a GT555. Should fit all your requirements.

Sony makes those sexy 13.3" SA/SB's. After coupon you can get one of them (forget which one the cheaper one is) down to $899 or something, at least last month you could. Thin, matte screen, sexy magnesium finish, even a back-lit keyboard, I think.

Of course, your money will go further with a 14"-15.6" unit, but those sizes, at least the 15.6" is going to seem ******* ginormous coming from an x120e.

Ah ha! Liking the Lenovos a hell of a lot... although Im tempted to get the smaller 470 or 460p model instead of the larger 15.6 variants, lol.

Now the question is.... GT550m vs HD6550.... Hmmm.....

Default New concern: Optimus fail?

After doing some digging i keep finding issues with Optimus screwing up framerates in almost all games?

Does this still occur? Can any current owner of an Optimus laptop please tell me if it has been solved... I really dont want any headaches to add to my troubles right now... just want something that will Work, hands down, every time.

Thanks again all.

No issues with my 570 since I got it. Optimus works fine.
