I was at Langley just after opening.

Couple guys were walking out with the HP touchpads. Last guy to get one had got there at 7:30AM.

Regardless I got 10TB worth of HDs....

Document editing has come, so happy. Got the keyboard at half price and it just makes a huge difference as I can actually type, period. This has now completely replaced my pos netbook. Autocorrect also doesn't completely drive me up the wall now when I type on the keyboard, corrects my errors nicely and with the word shortcuts can actually type faster than on my pc. It will now work for actual note taking in class better than my netbook was.

if HP keeps up with its promises of software updates and support this may actually be the best 200 dollars I ever spent.

I would highly recommend the Bluetooth keyboard for the touchpad, especially if you can still find it for 35. Only problems are it lacks esc and alt keys. And maybe the fact that arrow keys have no effect on the OS or scrolling webpages. But for typing, my god, never ever will virtual keyboards even come close to replacing physical ones. And HP's is very nice to type on I find.

What keyboard are you referring to? I have a keyboard for my iPad and it is simply amazing how much more awesome it is.

hp Made one for the touchpad with webOS specific buttons and that's the one I'm using. Makes a huge difference. If only I could get it to work with my netbook as well, would help.

IIRC thw playbook is currently slightly discounted, but is reported to be going on sale (50% off) on the 7/8 Sept. Not quite as good a deal, but $250 for a currently supported tablet isn't too shabby.
