Default I'm about to throw my hp910c out of the window...

.... but before that I must find a good, if not the best smartphone for around 500$. I will buy one unlocked, I'm tired of getting tied to rogers. So what would be te best move? Seems like the HTC desire is my target for now, but so much questions in my head!

1) Wich one to choose? HtC Desire, HTC desire Z or HTC desire HD (I know it cost a good 150 more)

2) Am I better waiting for the new one to come (ex LG Star wich a dual core processor) I suppose that it will cost a lot more...

3) Iphone? seems like I could have a 3gs for my price range....

4) Other phone maybe? (suggestions)

My current phone isn't broken, so maybe I could let some time go... but you know what it is... That phone (my ipaq 910c)is so freaking slow now.... and sometimes I miss some calls because the freaking buttons doesn't works all of a sudden.

Before you pick the phone, you need to settle on which carrier you are moving to. While the big 3 do share the same frequencies there are others such as Mobilicity & Wind who run on AWS.

For now I will stay with Rogers, just don't want to be tied with them by buying a locked phone.

Elaborate more please.... what was the model?

Still looking, even if my Ipaq is freaking me out but the more and more I read on the net, and the more I am tied between an Iphone 4 16gb or an HTC Desire HD. They are roughly the same price (650$).

I've had a touch pro for over a year and haven't had any issues with it. HTC makes good phones.
