What devices can't you identify?

I ran into a similar issue with a gateway netbook (several different hardware configs under the same model #), but the intel driver package made it pretty easy for me... it does an auto detect and won't install if it doesn't see the hardware.

AZZA Titan 240 / Custom WC / Intel 730 Series 480GB SSD / Intel 760p 512GB NVMe / Seagate Barracuda 1TB / ASUS SWIFT PG279Q

But it still shows you the device ID and vendor ID. Look them up and you will find out what you have.

I gave up on Vista and installed Win7 - What a difference ( thank you JD ). At least there is diver support for all the hardware and I dont have to muck around with third party apps to get the info i need on hardware that is unknown.

For future reference: The most commonly forgotten drivers in my experience:

- Bluetooth
- Card reader(s)
- 56k modem (yes, some laptops still have them)

Grats on moving to windows 7, its far superior anyways, lol.
