Wanting a Good Internet Tablet/Convertible/Netbook

I would love to give you a hand but I have also had a few people at work wanting the same kind of thing. I know the one guy I work with has the ipad, but as much as lots of it is very nice, I just can't forgive it for being as locked down as it is. No USB ports is a huge issue for me.

I'm really hoping that there will be some more choices soon. I am looking towards Asus for maybe providing one, but then again it looks like at least a couple months into 2011 before anything really materializes.

You're all going to absolutely hate me for saying this, but an iPad with Everyair installed. Before you yell at me, go Google Everyair please! My cousin and I bought it off of the appstore..and were surprised with how amazing it was using our W7 laptop. Dang.

Blah, but if you want something beastly, wait until Nvidia's Tegra 2 is released... you won't regret it if you do.

dont mean to thread crap or anything but there are decent tegra 2 tablets on the way.
One is by hannspree( i think its german) and the other from an indian firm, notion ink adam. Both lack what I am looking for, a dual digitizer screen so that I can take notes with them...the hp slate 500 on the other hand is way too expensive and sluggish

Thing is I don't want a different OS, I want to have windows 7. I want the same OS on all of my machines.

The lenovo slate looks good to me... perfect for browsing and watching videos on youtube and stuff. Cant wait to try one out.
