My System Specs

Default Gaming Laptop for school

Hey guys I'm starting to look for a laptop for when I'm going back to school this winter ( sure that leaves a lot of time but I prefer to have a clear idea of what I'll be buying )

What I'm looking for;

15" to 17" ( 1650x1080 / 1920x1080 )
i7 processor - 720QM ( better for multitasking, as I will use it for school, not only gaming )
Good graphic solution ( 5850/5870/460M/470M )
320GB storage or more
4GB of ram or more

I don't really care about battery life since I will plug it 99% of the time neither do I care about the weight ( I can carry a lot on my back )

Need a good laptop overall that will last at least 3 years (so it needs a good warranty too)

The games I will mostly play are Starcraft 2 and Fallout: New Vegas

The most important thing is that it needs to be <2000$ (with taxes) and MUST be bought in Quebec ().

I've been looking at the Asus G73JH-A1, MSI GX740, MSI GX640 but can't make a clear choice right now and there will be new models coming out in the coming weeks for sure...

Thanks!

Envy 14(for a little more portability), Alienware M15x are other options.

MSI GX640-260US.

The battery life on that is actually pretty good. Over 2 hours. I had one when NCIX had it on sale for $900, but I returned it. Starting to regret that decision now as my Compaq laptop I got from my cousin is worse than expected... Still how the hell did he destroy it like that.

I don't want to have to deal with either HP or Dell*.

*For anything else than monitors

Seemed like the most logic choice to me because of the price/performance ratio, and it got 3 years warranty so that's all good! Thanks! I can get it around 1200$ at Microbytes in Quebec, I'll see if I can get it somewhere else for less tho...
