So i am finding my self wanting a smart phone. I Must have these features but don't need a BB since i have a work supplied one to give me my BB fix.

I was looking at android handsets. But can't decided between the following options.

Option 1: HTC Desire
Option 2 : Motorola Milestone
Option 3: Wait and see if they will release a milestone 2 on telus.
Option4: Screw android and get an iphone.

If it's not an urgent thing, I would go with option 3. From what I've read, the Droid/Milestone 2 looks like a pretty big improvement over the current model, especially the keyboard.

HTC desire is the current GSM goodness.

However I'm gonna agree with Zero as there are MANY MANY new android phones coming out, including the Desire HD, Tmobile G2, Samsung Galaxy U..etc etc.

If you can live with telus, you should definitely check out the EVO 4G or Droid Incredible. Also upcoming HTC Glacier looks good as well :thumb:

If you want one now you can get the Galaxy S from bell. According to leaked spec it's almost the same then the Galaxy U will be. Pretty nice phone so far. I'm using it for few day now and I love it. Or get the desire. If you wait you will always wait since shit load of new phone come no market every week.

it's no rush but i would like to get it done before october 5th though so i don't miss out on a promo to get 5GB of data on all plans over $60.

I'd say Galaxy S as well. Should be hitting Rogers soon.

HTC Desire or Samsung Galaxy S, you will be happy with either, though IMO, Galaxy S is better because of the Super amoled. Milestone if you absolutely need a qwerty keyboard.

Whatever you do stay away from the xperia x10 >_>. Anyways i'd go for the HTC desire or samsung galaxy S.

I think I'll be picking up a HTC Desire once it's back in stock...

Seems to be a really solid phone, and I don't think SLCD is that bad. Only slight problem I have is that it runs HTC Sense, so Android updates are a bit slow. Hopefully it gets 2.2 shortly though.
