Yeah you'll be use the BB for the phone part of it, but if you're limited to that, how will a BB benefit you over a non-smartphone?

When I have questions about mobility and who has what this site seems to have all the answers:

Canadian Carrier Discussion

To answer your question you first need to know of your BB is locked to a carrier or unlocked. Then I think from my readings the only carrier to allow mobile data prepaid is Wind and there service area is a lot smaller compared to the big three.

Virgin Mobile has no contracts I believe and they offer BB and BB plans.

See no point in getting a BB if you only use it as a basic phone...

I agree with those above.

Contracts are perfectly fine and not as bad as they used to be.

No point in having a smart phone if you don't use it for the smart features.

if i had a choice i would go for the contracts, but i already ****** myself over twice with a contract im not doing it again. I might wait until koodo switches to GSM so i can just buy a sim card, and an unlocked BB
