Default looking for a laptop

Hey so my old Toshiba A70 has died

This laptop needs to be at least 15 inches (bigger is better) needs to have a dual core cpu at least 2GB of RAM, HDD size doesn't matter

It CANNOT be an HP

Cheaper is better

It will be used by my old man for checking the stats on the football games and games like solitaire so power doesn't really matter

The laptop will stay plugged in all the time and will be using a regular mouse anyways so portability doesn't matter

oh and the longer the warranty the better

any advice would be greatly appreciated

Had a horrible experience with a previous laptop purchase I had made with them

I was kind of hoping for a suggestion or two the ones that are more popular or people have heard good things about

Well I'm partial to Asus Notebooks, bought my son one a few years ago and bought the one in my Sig a few months ago. I have been looking at the one below for my wife

NCIX.com - Buy ASUS UL30A-A2 13.3IN 1366X768 Core 2 SU7300 4GB 500GB Webcam 8 Cell Win 7 Premium Notebook - UL30A-A2 In Canada.

I would be looking at:
4 GB RAM
W7
Min Duo Core (preferably I7)

If gaming isn't a concern then the GPU isn't a big deal ;)
