Gaming laptop build

Hey all,

I was wondering what pplz thought of this gaming laptop combo from Tiger Direct

OCZ DIY 15.4" Gaming Notebook PC Bundle - Intel Core 2 Duo T8300 2.4GHz, 802.11abgn WLAN, 2GB DDR2, 160GB HDD, DVDRW, 15.4" WXGA+, No OS in Canada at TigerDirect.ca

It seems kinda decent, albeit a bit chunky. 9-cell battery and a 8600 seem to give it some decent battery life/gaming power.
It's either this or a macbook:ph34r:

Oh wait, just realized that this is made completly obselete by the dell studio 15. Huh.

Welcome to Sager Notebooks

That's about the best performance, cheapest 15.4" proper "Gaming" notebook you'll find. Much better looking, less clunky, and MUCH more better performing as well. Just remember all the prices on Sager's website are in USD, though they do ship to Canada.

Not sure what your budget is but +1 for a Sager. Check out XoticPC.com they might have a deal on them? If you want to stick with purchasing from Canada and have a lower budget, than probably the Studio 15 is your best bet. I am not crazy about the Studio's style but it is a decent bang for buck.

sager ships via ups though.

Hmm, I'm kinda hesitant to buy a studio 15 until reviews come out on the new update. How's the XPS 13?

I have a Sager right now and its a great laptop but NCIX are going to carry Eurocom.
Its got upgradable graphics as well and its at least available in Canada. I would pick one up if I were looking but they are a bit expensive.
