Default what do you think she's worth?

I've got an Acer Aspire 5920G with a T5250 @ 1.6ghz, 2GB of DDR2 (I have 2x2GB I can throw into it tho), 250GB HDD, 15.4" 1280x800 LCD, 8600M GT w/512MB DDR2 (dedicated). it's also got 2 years of my FS extended warranty left.

I'm thinking of getting a desktop again, and when the dual core Atom's come out, grabbing one of them netbooks so I have something 'portable'.

Hmm...I would say since it's used of course, it would go for around $500-700...but then again i have no idea in the laptop market.

I'm actually in the market for a laptop. Looking for something below $600, but yours looks pretty high-end, even compared to today's laptops. Most $500-600 laptops in Futureshop usually only use 8200M or Intel cards.

How do the Acer keyboards feel? I have big hands, I'm not comfortable with most netbooks' keyboards.

not really, unfortunately the 8x00m series cards have terrible problems with heat, i had to have my g1s replaced 3 times now because of it.

although the card won't have to work too hard anyways, at that native res it should be able to play most games at med-max settings easily.

I've never had my GPU shut down because it was overly hot. I have used the excuse to leave a lousy game of CoD4 of saying my keyboard was to hot to touch, tho.

just installed my 4GB of RAM...now I'm thinking I'll flash my BIOS to the latest and greatest and look ag popping in a cheap Penryn of some sort.
