Default external dvd burner for mac?

Is there an external DVD burner for mac that I can get at bestbuy or some other general store like this? I've tried the Lacie external DVD burner but it didn't work for the disk I was trying to use. This dvd disk was made sure that it works as I have tried it on another computer - but it cannot read it! This was the model I've tried LaCie - d2 DL DVD±RW with LightScribe - FireWire, Double Layer and Toast® 8 Titanium for Mac.

What sort of disk are you trying to use? That drive was labelled for use with Macs (pretty much any drive will work with Mac OS X anyway) so I do not know exactly what your issue is.
