Default Asus EEE 1000 battery life
Can anyone tell me what the actual battery life under load and idle of the EEE 1000

For the Eee PC 1000H under normal use (surfing, emailing, IM) between 4 to 5 hours. Not sure about idle as I have mine programmed to go to standby after 20 minutes.

i get about 5 hrs or surfing, taking notes, etc. with brightness at level 3. this is with vista though -> supposedly has better power management, though i dont notice a huge difference from winxp

with everything turned down (wifi off, bt off, etc) i can get about 7 hrs of battery life.
