Default My $2,300 build review, if in the market.....

Everything on my new build went together without any problems or issues. The only hiccup I had was a whine in one of the four PCI-E capacitors on my 750w power supply, but only use 2 connections. Get this: Theraltake offered to replace with my TPG-750 with a new TPG-850 since they no longer sell the 750, I didn't even ask for a replacement, and they shipped out the new without me having to return the 750 first!

This build gives a windows user experience of 7.9 (except CPU 7.8, if you OC to 4.6Ghz you get a 7.9). The ASRock XFast LAN works great, I average only 48ms latency playing WoW..it was over 200. The sound card included with the mobo provides silky sound. The ram is energy efficient, and easily OC'able, very stable(don't be scared by the low price, its top quality and samsung undercharges). The Corsair Case and cooler offer top tier features and performance for a mid-tier price.

I can go on and on, yes I am proud of the build but only because I spent hours upon hours researching prices and reading reviews on seemingly countless components and it all paid off big time. Every component works superb and gives max performance for the price.

This is one heck of a machine for the price (complete with monitor, sound and speakers). I wouldn't change one thing on this build if given the opportunity. Originally, I wasn't sure if I wanted to 2x MomentusXT's in Raid or a single Intel SSD and MomentusXT.

I offer this blueprint for a $2300 build, if in the market..if any questions just ask.

Here's my build with exact prices paid:

Intel Core i7-3820 SB-E $290 (OC'd to 4.4)
ASRock X79 Extreme6/GB $259 (part of combo deal, includes EAX capable, PCI-E x1, Creative sound card, $90 value)(OC presets actually work)
16GB Samsung DDR3-1600 30nm MV-3V4G3D/US $80
Corsair Carbide 400r $90
Corsair H70 Core, Liquid Cooler w/2x COUGAR CF-V12HP 120mm fans $80
EVGA GTX680 $500
Thermaltake toughpower grand 850 TPG-850M $140(paid for the 750w model, but ended up with 850w model thanks to their legendary support)
Intel 520 180GB SSD $245 (ebay)
Seagate momentus XT 750 gen2 hybrid $140
LG BD burner w/ 3D MDisc Lightscribe $65
Dell UltraSharp U2412M LED 1920x1200 w/IPS $279 (New, w/ Dell April coupon code)
Cerwin-Vega XD3 sound monitors $90
Windows 7 Pro 64-bit $70(Dell branded oem)

Why do you need a MomentusXT just for storage?
