I also refuse to purchase Gigabyte from here on end, but instead because of how they responded to the vDroop issue on their 990FX boards. They had the nerve to tell everyone that it wasn't part of the AM3+ platform to add LLC, so they didn't put it in the board despite suffering from severe vDroop for both AM3 and AM3+ processors. Basically, the told everyone (including me) the whole "too bad, so sad" story who were complaining about insane vDroop. Oh, and to add salt to the wound, they released a new revision of the UD5/UD7 boards that actually has LLC.

Going strictly ASUS from here on end. The way GB handled that issue really turned me off from them.

I just read on another forum that a guy RMA'd a GTX 480 with Gigabyte and they returned a GTX 580 to him. Sounds like good service to me.

As far as I know Gigabyte have a value policy for card instead of a performance. So they wont return a 200$ card a years after you bought a 500$ card. Like XFX was doing while returning 5770 for people returning GTX280 and other high end card.

Oh...

Hate to tell you but Sapphire probably has worse RMA service than Gigabyte.

I finally received a notification from USPS that someone has shipped me something and that someone is gigabyte customer support. Now I am anxious to see which version of bios was actually used to correct the issue?

EDIT: Also that it takes 6-10 business days. So it would take pretty much more than a month.
